In particular, in some neighboring countries that share a border with Vietnam, the epidemic is booming on a large scale. Countries like Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos are experiencing an increase in the number of infection cases.
Sampling against Covid-19 is being made in the community
In this situation, Department of Health of Binh Duong province requested medical units in the province to quickly complete and supplement plans for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control; to restart concentrated quarantine areas to ensure that the capacity to isolate a large number of at-risk people, especially those who entered illegally may increase in the near future. Health units need to coordinate with relevant agencies to closely monitor and control those who enter illegally and to thoroughly segregate and take samples for testing.
For establishments eligible for Covid-19 screening test, it is necessary to increase the capacity of testing and proactive testing on a wide range of cases having symptoms of cough, fever, dyspnea, inflammation of the aspiration tract and other cases of high risk of infection in the community. At the same time, the units urgently develop plans to deploy vaccination against Covid-19 in the province for prioritized subjects according to the government's Resolution No. 21/NQ-CP.
Binh Duong provincial General Hospital is to consolidate the treatment area for Covid-19 patients, allocate staff, materials and facilities, and is ready to receive and treat patients who are tested positive for Covid-19. Medical centers of districts, towns, cities, ministries, branches and non-public hospitals readily arrange treatment areas and support the provincial General Hospital to treat Covid-19 patients on request.
