Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment has basically completed the project named “Adjusting, identifying additional restricted areas and limiting groundwater exploitation in Binh Duong province”; continued to implement four projects of water resource planning in Binh Duong province 2016-2025 period with a vision till 2035; planned for exploration, exploitation and use of minerals in Binh Duong 2016-2020 with a vision till 2030; investigated, evaluated the impacts of potential sources polluting groundwater and proposing solutions to protect water resources in Binh Duong province; made list of water source protection projects and submitting 20 dossiers of water and mineral resources to PPC for licensing.
In addition, in August, the department continued to implement information technology projects, checked and signed for database of the project “Setting up communication system to serve natural resources and environment management” in Thuan An town; complete functions of human resource management software; providing 77 land, surveying and mapping records according to requests of individuals, organizations.
