On January 28, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, chaired a Directors Board's meeting of Provincial Social Policy Bank to evaluate the performance 2020, announce orientations and tasks for 2021.
In 2020, Provincial Social Policy Bank received an allocation of over VND 3,375 billion, loans were continued to be transferred to poor households in the whole area with a total debt of nearly VND 3,362 billion; the cooperation with its affiliates to implement the mandate to bring capital to the poor and other policy beneficiaries also gained high results with the rate of 99%. Besides, Provincial Social Policy Bank implemented and successfully completed targets assigned by the Provincial People's Committee. At the meeting, members of the Board raised a number of difficulties and proposed solutions related to debt recovery.
Mr. Nguyen acknowledged good results achieved in 2020 of Directors Board's of Provincial Social Policy Bank, and its branches in districts, towns and cities. Provincial Social Policy Bank needed to continue collaborating closely with branches, localities at all levels, other unions etc. to identify right subjects of loan borrower to effectively use policy credit source; specify appropriate criteria in lending, strengthen debt management, and tighten risk management to improve credit quality and loan efficiency in 2021.
