In order to continue to promote the achieved good results, improve the effectiveness and efficiency in state management of natural resources and environment as well as promptly rectify the prevention and fight against corruption, and make recommendations to adjust provisions of laws, provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment has issued and implemented an inspection plan in 2021.

By 2020, the inspection and examination work, receiving people, settling complaints, denunciations, and anti-corruption of provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment were implemented as planned. The plan implementation was proactive and gained high quality, got into main points.
Nguyen Ngoc Thuy, Deputy Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment, said: “In 2020, the reception of people at provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment was strictly implemented in accordance with regulations, thereby helping people understand, comply with the law, strengthen confidence in the settlement of state management agencies in the field of natural resources and environment. In resolving complaints, reports, and recommendations in field of natural resources and environment, the department tries to promptly resolve to ensure the correct, reasonable order and procedures, to meet the expectations of the people, contributing to stabilizing the social order and safety, economic development of the province”. In 2020, 308/308 complaints, reports, and petitions were settled. In inspection and examination, the department implemented the proposed plan, gained high efficiency in state management as well as promptly rectified the environmental protection works of enterprises in the province.
In 2020, Department of Natural Resources and Environment inspected and checked 384 units. Thereby, the authority detected 254 violating organizations, and fined a total amount of 21.95 billion VND. Most of sanctioned organizations implemented fully payment of fines, as well as took remedial measures afterwards. In addition, the department issued the Plan No. 544/KH-STNMT dated Feb 12th 2020 on the implementation of Project propagating, disseminating and educating the law on anti-corruption in 2020-2021. Propaganda of directives, instructions received much attention and was integrated into implementation of activities and tasks of the department.

Ms. Nguyen said, through the review and assessment of inspection and examination results in 2020 and to continue promoting the achieved results, improving the effectiveness and efficiency in state management of natural resources and environment, promptly reorganizing the state management, anti-corruption, and proposing adjustments to law on natural resources and environment, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment issued Decision No. 1505/QD-STNMT approved The 2021 inspection plan based on the 2021 inspection plan of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; the plan approved by Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, in 2021, the department will carry out administrative inspection at two organizations in terms of expertise - techniques, industry management rules, natural resources and environment; public land management and the performance of state management functions; planning - finance work; administrative reform, friendly-government building; implementation of anti-corruption, thrift practice; staffing.
Based on the approved 2021 inspection plan and for good results of the plan, leaders of Department of Natural Resources and Environment organized the dissemination of the 2021 inspection plan and directed the implementation. Namely, to publicize the inspection plan of Binh Duong Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the official website (https://stnmt.binhduong.gov.vn/), and at the same time notify units on the inspection list. To develop a strict inspection outline; conduct the inspection in accordance with the process to ensure objectivity, not to affect the operation of these units during inspection period. Through inspection results, to accurately assess violations and limitations, ensuring the handling of administrative violations is done in a timely manner, in accordance with the prescribed order and procedures.
In addition, to proactively organize the implementation of the 2021 inspection plan and make monthly and quarterly plans to ensure compliance with the schedule set out. To periodically review and summarize each content, implement the plan to promptly draw experience, clearly identify the direction and next tasks, at the same time to improve professional qualifications of staff, and effectiveness of this work. To organize training courses, propagate and disseminate laws, foster officers' skills of inspection, examination, and handling of administrative violations for effective implementation of the plan.
