In 2022, the delegation led by Nguyen Huynh Nguyen Vy - Secretary of Bau Bang district Union and Chairman of the Committee of the Youth Union of Bau Bang district and members of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee of the district Youth Union, local leaders, grassroots union secretaries together with members in charge of professional work and branch leaders in Lai Uyen town have made up steps to improve the quality of activities of the branches which integrates many activities to improve the quality of the summer youth volunteer campaign. During the working session, the delegation also listened to the recommendations and suggestions of the branch leaders and secretaries in the area sharing and answering questions so that local youth volunteer activities have more connections with youth union members; at the same time, instructing branch leaders and secretaries a number of methods of propagating and uniting youth union members in town.
At Cay Truong II commune, Huynh Cao Thong - Deputy Secretary of the district Youth Union and Chairman of the Bau Bang district Children Pioneers Council and officials in charge of professional work made a journey to improve the quality of the youth summer campaign. During the meeting, Cay Truong II Commune Union approved the report on the activities of the Union and Association including the implementation of summer volunteer programs and campaigns launched by the Youth Union and Association. The representative of the commune union also presented some difficulties of the locality in the implementation and organization of activities.
According to Nguyen Huynh Nguyen Vy, right from the early days of June 2022, the Standing Board of the district Youth Union has implemented the step-up to improve the quality of the summer youth volunteer campaign in Bau Bang district in 2022 as a model developed by the Standing Committee of the district Youth Union in order to grasp the operation situation of the summer volunteer squads at the grassroots, promptly advise, reward and encourage good models, effective ways and propagate and replicate good models and creative solutions in the campaign.
Accordingly, each district union officer is assigned to be directly in charge of an area to regularly monitor and update the situation and promptly advise the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union to support and encourage the grassroots such as visiting, giving gifts or organizing to write propaganda and encouraging news articles of formations, examples of typical Youth Union officers and youth union members in the campaign. In addition, district union officials participate in activities in the area to promptly grasp information as well as to extend implementation orientations and organize propaganda for each specific activity.
The model has contributed to spreading activities to youth union members and all people in the area through the media supported by the district level. At the same time, it raises the awareness and responsibility of Youth Union officials and youth union members in participating in organizing activities and joining hands in building and implementing diverse and practical summer campaign contents from grassroots. It is known that, after 4 weeks of implementation, the Standing Committee of the district Youth Union visited 6 out of branches of the Youth Union in the residential areas and answered about the problems, suggestions and recommendations of the Youth Union establishments; thereby, improving the quality of summer campaign activities.
“Through the contents advised by the district Youth Union officials, the Standing Committee of the district Youth Union went to each locality and met the Party committees and volunteer squads to listen to and share difficulties, good solutions, and creatively outstanding opinions at the grassroots, through which appropriate answers and forms of encouragement will be provided," Vy added.
