Provincial Association of Women has just submitted Provincial People’s Committee the plan for project of “women starting up businesses in 2017-2025” in Binh Duong Province. Talking with Binh Duong Newspaper, Truong Thanh Nga, Deputy Chairwoman of Provincial Association of Women, informed of the general target of the scheme of inspiring business starting up among women, promoting, and realizing business ideas of women.

- Madam, what are the basic targets of the project for women to start up businesses in the province in 2017-2025?
- Based on reality in Binh Duong Province, Provincial Association of Women proposed general target of the project to improve awareness of women about decisions and policies of CPV and the State in a bid to inspire starting-up business spirit, potentials, and creativity of women. The plan aims for realization of business ideas and development of start-up businesses, collectives, individual business households, newly incorporated enterprises by quality and sustainable supporting services, successfully carrying out national targets of corporate development while refining legal policies to assist women in starting up and developing businesses and assure gender equality in economic sector.
- Can you specify the subjects of the plan?
- The subjects of the plan are women having ideas and needs of starting up businesses and creativity in starting up businesses. Besides, the cooperation groups, collectives, individual household business, and newly incorporated enterprises held by women. The plan has also been diverted to women of poor households, disadvantages, minor ethnicity, and challenging land transformation.
- What specific activities shall be made to support women to start up their businesses, madam?
- All levels of women's unions in the province will conduct surveys and sum up the needs of women for start-ups, start the business to develop effective support plans. That is to support business capacity building, start-up business for women have new business ideas are feasible, effective; strengthening the capacity to support start-ups; capacity building for staff in charge of management skills, business skills, management; connect with the departments, organizations in starting business support, start up business. - The scheme will be divided into 2 phases. Phase I, from now to 2020, striving to complete 50% of planned targets. By the end of 2020, the first phase of the conference will be held to evaluate and draw experience for the next phase. At the same time praising the collective example, individual women start the business, start the business successfully. Phase II will be implemented in 5 years, from 2021 to 2025.
