The Binh Duong Gender Equality Program for 2016-2020 period achieved remarkable results. Nguyen Ngoc Hang, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, said that the launching ceremony of Action Month for Gender Equality and Violence Prevention based on gender equality 2020 was the highlight to enhance gender equality propagation, attract attention of the whole society on the implementation of gender equality, preventing violence against women and children, thereby raising awareness of women and children's rights to equality in family and society. With the theme "Ending violence against women and children", this year, in addition to gender equality dissemination among agencies, units, organizations and people in the province, violations of gender equality will be handled severely.
