Accordingly, domestic violence prevention activities have contributed to raise awareness about the role and responsibilities of families and the community in the implementation of policies and laws on marriage and family, gender equality, simultaneously promoting good customs, practices, eliminating outdated practices in marriage and family; maintained and enhanced the quality of domestic violence prevention models.
In addition, provincial steering committee also comprised cadres of Culture and Information Offices, district Justice Offices, communal steering committees, executive board of sustainably developing family clubs; members of domestic violence prevention teams; mediation team members.
Contents of domestic violence prevention action plan and training sessions included: Law on Domestic Violence Prevention, Law on Gender Equality, Law on Marriage and Family that would combined with other activities at 9 localities in the province.
