From November 15, the 12th graders in some high schools in "green areas" will return to school. Then, depending on the level of the COVID-19 epidemic in each locality, the number of 12th graders going to school directly would be increased over time. The remaining schools also organize direct teaching for senior students. At some schools, students in grades 10 and 11 have also gone to school.

Nationally excellent students of Hung Vuong Senior High School are now back to direct schooling
To focus on squads of excellent students
Making the most of the "golden time" when students learn directly to organize teaching effectively. That is a remarkable phrase in the document of Department of Education and Training guiding schools to organize safe, flexible and adaptive teaching and effectively control the COVID-19 epidemic from the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.
On the first day of direct teaching on December 6, Hung Vuong Senior High School in Thu Dau Mot city have gathered students in a team of excellent students in 9 exams to review and prepare for the national exams of excellent students to be held in March next year. A group of students in the computer science team said that for computer science, face-to-face learning is easier to interact with than online learning. For them, every hour that teachers and students sit together is precious because the amount of knowledge of the team members is enhanced.
As for Cao Thi Nhu Quynh, a student of the geography team, she prefers face-to-face learning because studying online often causes eye strain. When going to class, students ask questions about any part of knowledge that they do not understand and are promptly answered by the teacher. Studying together and discussing with friends help them complement knowledge, so they are psychologically more comfortable and better acquire the knowledge.
Mr. Vo Thanh Tu, Deputy Principal of Hung Vuong Senior High School, in charge of the school's team of talented students in math, said that it is the valuable time for teachers and students to meet face-to-face to learn as in the time of online teaching still have defects. For the students in the team, this is really a golden time for teachers and students to practice together to achieve good results in the national outstanding students' exams.
For graduates
When the epidemic occurs, the education and training sector in general and the Board of Trustees and teachers of schools in particular are most worried about 12th grade students in an important school year that determines their future. They must be well equipped to meet the high school graduation exam in 2022. Therefore, most parents and students look forward to the day of going back to school directly when the province returns to the "new normal".
From November 29, the 12th graders of Thuong Tan High School in Bac Tan Uyen district went to school directly. According to the school's plan, from December 13, students in grades 9, 10 and 11 will also return to school. For students in grade 12, the school has 3 classes including 1 natural science class and 2 social science classes. By consulting with a number of students, they all expressed their joy at being able to return to school. Aware of the importance of the senior year, students attend school fully except for those who are in the F0, F1 category or have a fever. Mr. Nguyen Phuc Loc, Deputy Principal of Thuong Tan High School, said that in the first 2 weeks, teachers review online learning knowledge for students, then they will teach the next curriculum. According to the school year plan, on January 8, 2022, students will take the first semester exam. Therefore, teachers are speeding up the preparation of knowledge for students according to the guidance of Ministry of Education and Training to adjust the teaching contents.
At Binh An High School in Di An city, from December 6, 12th graders also return to school. After a long time of online learning, returning to face-to-face schooling make students very excited as they look forward to seeing their teachers again to acquire knowledge. On the first day of school, the school's Board of Trustees went to each class to encourage students to focus on studying and prepare well for the first semester exam. According to the Board of Trustees, about 92% of students went to school directly. Next, the number of students who cannot go to school will be monitored directly through the classroom's camera which is equipped by the school in two 12th grade classrooms.
As for Phu Giao district, from November 29, grade 9 students have returned to school. From December 6, the 8th grade students have also gone to school directly. The leader of Education and Training Division of Phu Giao district said that they have built a safe, flexible and adaptive teaching plan to effectively control the COVID-19 epidemic. According to the plan, in the first 5 weeks, students study one session per day and after 5 weeks they will summarize and evaluate the situation. It is expected that the schools will organize two sessions a day for schools with sufficient facilities and organize for students to dine and sleep at school for those students who register for part-boarding.
The school gate has reopened and teaching and learning activities at high schools have been active. Then, students at the remaining grades will also return to school at the soonest. The whole education and training sector in general is taking advantage of the "golden time" when teaching directly and be determined to complete the tasks set for the 2021-2022 school year.
