In 2013 alone, the province has 396 works and products registered at provincial level implemented with a total value of over VND 116.5 billion, gaining benefits of more than VND 23.7 billion in benefits; 3,089 initiatives of engineering improvement and 284 scientific innovations are implemented, including five initiatives of technical improvements gaining over VND 1.5 billion of benefits.
The Vietnamese Labor Union has received merit certificates and medals of initiatives while 6 initiatives were prized with Nguyen Duc Canh Award.In the first 6 months of 2014, more than 3,000 initiatives have been registered for implementation; while 4 initiatives have won Vietnamese merit certificates and medals of creative labor.Through the emulation movements many projects, improvement initiatives, and useful solutions are researched and put into use to achieve good results, contributing to saving of considerable investment costs for agencies, units, and enterprises.
In particular, in the non-state businesses the emulation movement of good labor and creative work is promoted. At Siemens Company Ltd. in Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park I, the emulation movements have been very exciting.Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh, Chair of the Company, said that the company upheld the movements of promoting initiatives and technical improvements. In the company, a board of reviewing initiatives and improvements has been established. Those initiatives of the employees deserved the bonuses upon realization. In addition, the Company may increase the bonuses from encouraging to big sum for initiatives bringing the most benefits. Specifically, the initiative would be evaluated in six months, if the company could benefit from VND 60-100 million, the bonuses should be 5% of the total benefit; and 7% for benefit from VND 100- 200 million and 10% for the benefit of over VND 200 million.
Mr. Ho Tat Loi, who has built many initiatives for the company said: "I dare to promote by encouragement of the Company. The initiative here need not to be too great, it is simply the improvement of unreasonable hotspot for better and more productive working process." It is known that recently, Loi has contributed over 30 initiatives to improve the production of the company, of which, 6 initiatives have been applied for Siemens Factory in Binh Duong Province.
These initiatives typically reduce cycle time by reducing the time of Joggle molding and mold journey with process yield increased by 10%; improvements of packaging for the conductive bars increasing the dimension from 1.26m to 3m ... In particular, he was honored with the "3i STAR" Award (Idea, Innovation, Initiative) only for the continuous improvement program in 2013 for the Branch of Siemens in Binh Duong Province.
