The number of infringing foods decreased compared to the previous period”, Mr. Tho said.
Communication on health protection
At the beginning of the year, the progression of Coronavirus is complicated in the world. The Government directed to suspend all festivities that have not been opened, exceptional special cases must have the Prime Minister's opinion, reduce the scale of festivals held. Following the Government's direction, Binh Duong suspended a number of coming events. On Feb 1, after the national online conference on prevention of Coronavirus, Đặng Minh Hưng, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, asked provincial departments, agencies and localities to immediately implement some contents of Coronavirus prevention. Regarding folk belief festivals that are not hosted by the State, it is necessary to encourage Organizing Committees to intensify the communication on epidemic prevention measures and guide people to wear masks when participating in festivals, inform participants of not gathering at crowded times but slackening to avoid the risk of spreading.
Dr. Huynh Thanh Ha, Deputy Director of Department of Health, said that the communication to raise people's awareness of disease prevention at the festivals was very important. According to him, the most concern is how to help the community protect their own health. In order to do this, the dissemination on disease prevention to people must be strengthened. To protect the health of themselves and the community, every citizen must be self-aware of self-prevention.
