Dinh Thi Huong, Chairwoman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Phong Thai Rubber Company (Tan Dinh Ward, Ben Cat City) said: “When we heard the news of the General Secretary's death, all company employees were very sad. The company held a ceremony for all employees to mourn and commemorate the General Secretary. The General Secretary is a shining example for all citizens of the country, including myself, to learn and continue to work and improve ethics. Grassroots Trade Union of Phong Thai Rubber Company will remember his teachings, which is to constantly study, protect the legitimate rights of workers, and create movements to take care of workers' lives better."

The image of the General Secretary shaking hands and warmly encouraging workers every time Tet comes in the "Tet Reunion" program organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has become familiar, deeply imprinted in the minds of workers”.

Nguyen Thi Kim Nguyen, Head of Administration Department of Binh Duong Garment Joint Stock Company (Thuan An City), emotionally recalled: “When hearing the news of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's death, all workers in the company were silent, sad and could not control their emotions. I shed tears, in that moment I thought of the memorable images of him 11 years ago when he visited our company. I remember every gesture, smile, every word of him, and the General Secretary's thoughtful greetings to the collective of workers, and his affectionate embrace for the children at the company's kindergarten."
