To rennovate operations of connecting young workers

In order to strengthen the gathering and solidarity of young workers, Binh Duong provincial Youth Worker and Young Labor Support Center has actively innovated and created practical models and focused on supporting the life of young workers.

Branch connection

With the purpose of connecting youth unions and clubs to connect young workers in enterprises, the provincial Youth Worker and Young Labor Support Center has created a model of the Journey of "Connecting trade – Elevating the brands" in 2023. In the journey No. 1, the organization center for the company's branches to sign a contract to support branch activities and promote introduction, market expansion, and efficiency.

Journey No. 1 achieved results that the Branch of Wintech Vietnam Technology Development Investment Joint Stock Company and the Branch of Duong Nam Phat Automobile Trading and Service Co., Ltd signed a contract to support mutual development. At the same time, the center organizes for company branches to visit businesses in order to connect and exchange, buy and sell products at preferential prices during the difficult economic time.

Mai Van Tien, Deputy Director of the Center to support youth workers and young workers in the province, said that the journey will be organized by the center every 2 months and by the region and area in the province. The Center orients the branches to sign with the content of establishing a relationship of solidarity, attachment, and mutual development. On the other hand, the branches will coordinate in the activities of the Union; strengthen solidarity and rally youth; at the same time, promoting the spirit of volunteering for the community in the center's activities and creating conditions and supporting the lives of young workers working in the province.

Institutional strengthening

Continuing to effectively implement useful playground models to serve young workers, in the Workers' Month of 2023, the center established the Workers' Youth Swimming Club. The swimming pool is located in the central campus to be spacious and airy and a place to exercise and relax for young workers after every hour of working. This is also a place to teach swimming and learn to swim, contributing to the prevention of drowning for children of young workers and workers.

In order to better implement cultural institutions and take care of young workers, at Ecolakes Walking Street of Ben Cat town, the center has coordinated to launch the model of "Meeting place for young workers" with participation of more than 1,000 workers. The first program took place with a wide range of exciting activities with cultural performances, street music, folk games and gifts to young workers with difficult circumstances in Ben Cat town. The program Organizing Committee also propagates the prevention and control of drug harms and skills to handle situations related to drug crimes. Thanh Loan, a young worker at My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park in Ben Cat town, said: “The program organizers have created new and close features, especially exciting folk games. has met the entertainment and recreational needs of young workers after hard working days.”

According to Mai Van Tien, the model is an activity to take care of the spiritual life of young workers and workers who are living and working at companies and businesses on weekends. The program is maintained and held monthly in locations where a large number of workers live in the province. The contents of the programs are organized by the center with cultural and artistic exchanges, contests, counseling, job introduction, thematic talks, folk games, legal support, advice and propaganda. The center will connect with businesses running VND-0 booths, original price stalls and giving gifts to young workers with difficult circumstances in the programs. The model will contribute to the effective implementation of the solidarity project, gathering young workers and young workers in Binh Duong province in the 2021-2025 period.
