On September 8, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to prepare for the scientific conference "The prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic, socio-economic recovery from the practice of Binh Duong province and the Southern region”. Participants of the meeting were representatives of Political Academy Region 2 and departments, branches in the province.
According to the report, as of September 7th, the organization board received 82 papers, of which Political Academy Region 2 received 37 papers, Provincial Department of Science and Technology received 45 papers. It is expected that the number of papers submitted would increase more in the coming days. Currently, Academy of Politics Region 2 is sorting and classifying papers according to identified topics.
The research papers of experts, scientists and researchers focus on 8 groups of issue, including: Leadership and direction for the prevention and control of the Covid-19; communication work to prevent and control the Covid-19; medical strategy in the prevention and control of the Covid-19; administrative and security measures to ensure social order and safety in the Covid-19 context; economic recovery measures after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic; social security solutions in the Covid-19 context; mobilize the synergy of political system and community for the Covid-19 prevention and control, and other contents related to the conference topic.
The conference program is planned to be divided into 2 sessions with 2 topics: "The prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic from the practice of Binh Duong province and the Southern region" and "The socio-economic recovery after the Covid-19 from the practice of Binh Duong province and the Southern region".
Concluding the meeting, Nguyen Loc Ha asked relevant branches to continue coordinating to performs tasks and uphold their roles and responsibilities to organize the conference successfully. The Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the preparation should be done carefully and seriously according to the plan set out economically, practically and efficiently.
