Actually, in recent days, TDM City has some people coming from Da Nang, thus the infection risk of Covid-19 in the community is high. TDM City Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention control asked bodies and units to check all people who came back from Da Nang and provinces having infectious cases.
Nguyen Loc Ha, Chairman of Thu Dau Mot City People's Committee, said: “To trace cases related to the epidemic outbreak in Da Nang, Quang Nam, and Quang Ngai, TDM City strictly check suspected cases, promote the role as an example. Not only civil servants, officials and workers returning from epidemic zones and not making medical declarations, but also heads of their agencies or their relevant organizations, will be reprimanded. Accordingly, heads of agency, units require civil servants, officials and workers, including their families, who returned from epidemic zones and other locations according to the urgent notice of Ministry of Health from 1st July, must make medical declaration at their residence place. Cases of non-compliance with this will be forced into the city's quarantine areas”.
In addition to exemplary role in with epidemic prevention and control, the city also direct, monitor the health of people who are in quarantine at home. Thanks to the active drastic implementation of many measures by the Steering Committee, the epidemic situation in the province has been under good control. As of August 5, Thu Dau Mot City recorded 1,067 cases related to the outbreak in Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai; Of which 1,062 cases are in home quarantine, and 5 cases are in centralized quarantine areas.
To prepare plans for epidemic prevention and control
The city is also preparing for a concentrated isolation zone for a fee at two hotels in the area. Accordingly, the two hotels were selected for quarantine, including: Dai Nam Hotel (belongs to Dai Nam tourist area) with 84 rooms. The Mira 2 (under Thanh Le Company - The Mira Hotel), with 92 rooms. Currently, Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control of the city is accelerating to complete the operation regulations, ready to receive isolation cases; prepared sufficient drugs and chemicals to ensure there will be no shortage of chemicals, face masks, and personal protective equipment for epidemic prevention and control activities. set up adequate quarantine options in case of a widespread epidemic outbreak.
17 teams of quick response for epidemic prevention and control are working hard at full capacity to trace to suspected cases. The team members are always ready to perform their tasks of investigating, monitoring, zoning and handling the outbreak in accordance with the guidance of Ministry of Health.
The highlight of this work is the solidarity and synergy between party committees and authorities at all levels, maximizing the strength of the entire population, the role of political organizations, social unions. Accordingly, the dissemination has been done regularly and continuously in diverse forms. Therefore, people in the city are fully aware of dangers of the epidemic as well as of epidemic, disease prevention and control measures to protect their own health. Nguyen Van Bay (in Phu Cuong ward), said: “Due to the information from local public servants, my family has properly taken measures to prevent the epidemic, not to be panic and worried about false rumors on social networks related to the Covid-19”.
It can be seen that up to this moment, the epidemic control in the city has been implemented well.
