During more than 25 years of construction and development, with dynamism and creativity, Binh Duong Province has been strongly attracting domestic and foreign investors, becoming a locality with a strong economy, especially industry and services. On that development path, Binh Duong also attracted human resources in other provinces and cities throughout the country. Currently, in addition to indigenous workers, there are also more than a million migrant workers in the province.
Migrant workers in Binh Duong always receive special attention of provincial authorities. At the present, Binh Duong is making maximum efforts to implement and complete the policy of rent support for workers according to the Prime Minister's Decision No. 08/2022/QD8-TTg. In recent years, relevant agencies and units in the province have applied effectively policies on labor, employment, health insurance, unemployment insurance etc. to take care of and protect the legitimate rights of workers.
In order to stimulate economic development, in addition to inviting investors, mobilizing all resources, workers are always valued and put on top by the province. In addition to general policies of the Government and ministries, Binh Duong for many years has promulgated practical policies and action programs to care for workers. Besides visiting, giving gifts on big holidays to workers and their children, Binh Duong's low-cost social housing program for workers has become a good example in the country. Thanks to this program, tens of thousands of migrant workers have obtained their "dream home", made long-term commitment to this worth-living land.
An evidence of the provincial leadership’s attention and care for workers is when the province became a hot spot of Covid-19 in 2021. With resources, the highest affection and responsibility, Binh Duong devoted itself to protecting the health of workers, providing material support and rent support for workers in the province.
The Covid-19 outbreak passed, Binh Duong continued to have an incentive policy of inviting and welcoming workers back to factories and businesses in the province. On the past development path as well as the upcoming journey, with its resources and responsibilities, Binh Duong will definitely continue to give maximum attention and support to workers in order for them to feel assured and accompany the ascension of the province.
