In Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) 2021, provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs - the standing agency of Provincial Steering Committee for OSH Action Month - has submitted the expenditure of visits and gifts for a number of victims and families of occupational accidents in 2021 to Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval.
According to the plan, the Steering Committee will visit and give gifts to 30 victims of severe occupational accidents and families of victims. Gifts for these people have three levels, specifically as follows: Family of deceased victim of occupational accident: 4 million VND/person; victim of occupational accident with an injury rate of 81% or more: VND 3 million/person, and victims of occupational accidents with an injury rate of less than 81%: VND 2 million/person.
Fund for this activity is in the budget estimate for provincial OSH Action Month 2021. This is a very meaningful activity showing the concern and consolation of the province to victims of occupational accidents in the province.
