Therefore, the trade union local of Pungkook Saigon 2 Co., Ltd. in the Song Than 1 Industrial Park have been actively proposed the company’s directorate to adjust the basic wage for workers by VND300,000 per person per month.

Le Van Toai, Chairman of the Trade Union of Pungkook Saigon 3 Factory under Pungkook Saigon 2 Co., Ltd. said that over the past two years, the company and employees faced many difficulties, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The company’s goods could not be exported with orders falling sharply and the supply of raw materials interrupted. Despite many difficulties, the company made efforts in supporting employees within its capacity. For example, the company ensured salaries, bonuses on April 30, September 2 holidays and 13th month salaries on the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival as well as maintaining its annual salary increase policy for employees. The company also arranged jobs for employees when orders were not accepted yet by customers and its supply of materials was still interrupted. “Currently, the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic is still complicated with high prices, making the lives of workers facing difficulties. After considering recommendations by the trade union local, the company’s directorate has adjusted to increase the basic salary by VND 300,000 for all employees with labor deals which is applied from February 1, 2022. This aims to share difficulties with employees, helping them feel secure to focus on working effectively, improving productivity and product quality," said Mr. Toai.
Before the news of the basic salary increase amid difficulties, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and high prices, employees at Pungkook Saigon 2 Co., Ltd. were all very happy and excited. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Cam working at Pungkook Saigon 3 factory’s PK3A workshop shared: "In the face of the heavy impacts of the pandemic, rising prices have made the lives of workers, especially those living away from home difficult face many difficulties, because all their living expenses only depend on salary. When receiving information that the company will increase the basic salary for employees, we are very happy, excited and assured to work."
Similarly, after learning about trade unionists and employees’ thoughts and aspirations, the trade union local of Chutex International Co., Ltd. in the Song Than 2 Industrial Park has also proposed the company’s directorate to increase the basic salary for employees. After considering, the company’s directorate has decided to issue a policy to increase the basic salary for employees, with the adjustment of VND300,000 per person per month, which is applied from February 1, 2022. Hansoll Vina Co., Ltd. in the Song Than Industrial Park 1 has also decided to increase the basic salary by VND 300,000 for employees, which is applied from February 1, 2022...
Enterprise stable for production development
The increase of basic salary for employees is to ensure their rights and interests, thereby helping them keep their mind on work for long-term commitment to enterprises. Anthony Chin, Deputy General Director of Chutex International Co., Ltd., said that over the past 2 years, the company experienced the most difficult period, due to Covid-19. Despite having to endure such difficulties, the company has always tried to well ensure employees' benefits. “In 2022, the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic is still complicated, making enterprises and employees face many difficulties. Prices are constantly increasing while the number of orders received by the company has decreased significantly compared to the previous period when there was no pandemic. However, the company always considers employees as valuable assets, striving to ensure their benefits, sharing difficulties with employees in order to overcome this difficult period together ", Mr. Anthony Chin shared.
Peon Do Gyun, General Director of Eins Vina Co., Ltd. in the Song Than 2 Industrial Park said that in the face of the current labor fluctuations, the company has implemented many healthcare policies, creating a safe working environment... for employees in order to stabilize its labor source at requirements for production and business development. Especially, through suggestions by trade union local together with learning about the lives of employees facing many difficulties, due to the impact of the pandemic and high prices, the company has decided to increase the basic salary for employees by VND 300,000 per person per month from February 1, 2022. “If there is the adjustment of the regional minimum wage from the State in 2022, the company’s salary adjustment will be considered under the increase level of the promulgated document. If the State's minimum wage increase level is lower than the company's increase level, the company will keep its increase level", said Mr. Peon Do Gyun.
