Trade Union stands side by side with laborers, making them feel secure

Over the past time, province-based Industrial Parks (IPs)’Trade Union well realized its function in protecting laborers’legitimate rights and interests. The Trade Union also opportunely solved many issues to stabilize labor relationship in businesses, contributing to helping laborers keep their mind on work.

For benefit of laborers

Mai Thanh Thao, Chairwoman of province-based IPs’Trade Union said that over the past time, the Trade Union constantly improved its operational contents and forms with focus on taking care of laborers ‘legitimate rights and interests, strengthening activities for the benefit of laborers, aiming to improve their spiritual and material lives.

Province-based IPs’Trade Union awards scholarships to the offspring of laborers with difficult circumstances

In the face of difficulties from Covid-19 pandemic, the Trade Union has instructed its branches to actively implement measures taking care of the lives of laborers. Since early this year, the Trade Union has proposed the Support Fund for Laborers to spend VND108million on supporting 15 cases; offered gifts worth more than VND94million to 189 laborers heavily affected by workplace accidents; donated 1,000 gifts to laborers with difficult circumstances; presented 300 “giving strength to school” gifts to poor-but-excellent pupils; gave 8 bicycles worth VND16milion for poor-but-excellent pupils, with a total value of more than VND1.2billion…

The Trade Union has also disseminated new regulations among laborers; taken part in solving 35 labor disputes, opportunely ensuring laborers ‘legitimate rights and interests…

Together with officials of province-based IPs’Trade Union, we have paid a visit to the family of Pham Thi Be Quyen, a worker of Astro Company in TDM city’s Phu Tan ward. Her family is very poor and she now suffers from cancer. When receiving money from the Trade Union’s “mutual affective, mutual love” fund, she was moved and expressed thanks to trade unions at all levels and the company for their timely help to her family.

Many other needy cases were also supported from the Trade Union over the past time. The attention and support of the Trade Union contributed to encouraging laborers to surmount difficulties and keep their mind on work…
