Grassroots Trade Union of Rochdale Spears Co., Ltd. (Thuan An City) cooperated with the company to organize a contest "Charming Ao Dai" and attracted the participation of 59 candidates who are union members. With the competition of traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai, the contestants showed graceful beauty in the Ao Dai, gave the audience many beautiful impressions of the Vietnamese Ao Dai. In addition, this unit also organized games of piggy bank beating, jumping sacks... for union members and workers; presented gifts to all women union members and employees working at the company.
Trade Union of Ben Cat Industrial Parks also held a cooking contest with the theme "The Keeper of Family Fire". The competition had the participation of 95 teams from affiliated grassroots trade unions. Before that, Phu Giao District Labor Confederation held cooking contests and flower arranging competitions. Participants of these activities also included grassroots trade unions in schools and grassroots trade unions in 11 communes and towns. The organizers also showed documentary footage and launched a response movement to "Ao Dai Week".
