Upholding achievements done during the Traffic Safe Year 2011, Binh Duong’s youths have further promoted activities towards the community. Plan of the Traffic Safe Year 2012 has been implemented widely and deeply, contributing to raising the local youths’ awareness of the enforcement of laws and building up traffic culture among them.
Binh Duong’s youths have been so far got ready to realize activities in response of the Traffic Safe Year 2012, said provincial Youth Union Vice Secretary Do Ngoc Huy.
Under the set targets, all Youth Unions in the province will bring contents about dissemination of traffic law and culture into periodic meetings by the end of 2012. Youth Unions at district/town levels will build criteria on traffic culture among youths and pledge not to have under-18 youths who ride over-50 cc motorbikes…All Youth Unions have also committed to set up clubs on law dissemination, volunteer youth groups on traffic safety…

To achieve the set targets, provincial Youth Union will attach special importance to education and dissemination of the traffic laws, actively implement the campaign of “Youth with traffic culture”, set up the models of “Youth and children take part in ensuring traffic safety”..., added Mr.Huy.
He has also emphasized the task of rewarding and commending collectives and individuals who gain excellent achievements in the task of disseminating and keeping traffic safety.
Together with propaganda measures, the local Youth Unions will also promote the campaign of “Youth with traffic culture”. Accordingly, each youth must be self-aware of the execution of laws on traffic safety, do not use bad language, do not leave litter, do not drive vehicles after having a drink, get ready to help those who face traffic accidents…
During the Traffic Safety Month, districts and towns will organize a festive day of “Youth with traffic culture” the same time with many significant activities, including forums, exchanges with “traffic culture” messengers, art performances, guidance about how to drive safely. The establishment of the groups of “volunteer youths in keeping traffic safety and order”, the models of “Traffic safety at school gate”…will be also implemented.
It is hoped that the above activities will contribute to raising awareness of the people in general and the youth in particular in the enforcement of laws on traffic safety.
