Train and plane tickets to go home for Tet have been delivered to workers

In recent days, many enterprises and trade union organizations in the province have given Tet gifts, train and plane tickets to go home for Tet to union members and workers. When meaningful Tet gifts come early to workers, it has motivated them to stick with their jobs, as well as have more time to prepare for Tet for their families.

Early Tet gifts

The pioneer in giving early Tet gifts to workers is Pungkook Saigon III Co., Ltd. (Thuan An City), where 1,800 union members and workers are working. Accordingly, each person receives a Tet gift worth 250,000 VND, including candy and some necessities. In addition to Tet gifts, at the end of the year, the company and the grassroots trade union also coordinate to organize a year-end party for workers.

Regarding Tet bonuses, the company rewards workers with one month's salary. It is expected that employees at the company will work until January 24 (December 25) and return to work on February 5 (January 8). The representative of the union of Pungkook Saigon III Company Limited said that they will give Tet bonuses to employees in the coming days.

Employees of Pungkook Saigon III Company Limited are excited to receive Tet gifts early

Mrs. Ha Thi Phuong (from Tra Vinh), a worker who has worked at the company for more than 6 years, shared: “The company organizes Tet care early so that workers have more time to prepare for Tet. Many brothers and sisters who live far away have time to book bus and train tickets; have money to send home to buy clothes for their children and necessities for Tet”.

In addition to Tet gifts, the Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park Union (Thuan An City) also brought the joy of Tet to workers early when it organized the awarding of train, bus and plane tickets to hundreds of union members and workers to return home to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025. At the same time, there was a program to commend and reward exemplary individuals and units of the year; giving Tet gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, accidents, and serious illnesses.

Holding the Tet train ticket in her hand, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong (from Ha Tinh), a worker at Compass II Company Limited, could not hide her joy. “Before that, the grassroots union proposed to consider giving me train tickets for Tet, but I was still very worried, not knowing if I was qualified to receive the tickets or not. The program to support train and car tickets to bring workers far from home to celebrate Tet with their families is very meaningful. If I did not receive ticket support, my family would not have the conditions to return home to celebrate Tet,” Mrs. Hong confided.

Workers assured

Through the review of trade unions at all levels in the province, up to now, there are 1,771 enterprises (enterprises) in the area that have reported on plans to take care of workers during Tet. The average bonus for the Lunar New Year of At Ty in 2025 is 8.77 million VND/person. In addition to activities to take care of Tet gifts, there are programs such as lucky draws, organizing year-end meals, etc.

For the Lunar New Year 2025, trade unions at all levels in Binh Duong province plan to spend more than 272 billion VND to take care of union members and workers in difficulty; at the same time, mobilize social resources, enterprises, and local authorities to support workers in difficulty with tens of thousands of gifts, helping them to celebrate Tet with peace of mind.

At the same time, in order to implement the consistent direction of the Provincial Party Committee on taking care of union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances, during holidays and Tet so that everyone can have a Tet holiday, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor requests that all levels of unions, especially the grassroots level, proactively negotiate and propose employers to fully implement the salary regime according to the contract for workers; have policies and organize activities to show gratitude and thank workers for their efforts in a year with the enterprise to overcome difficulties and stabilize production, such as Tet bonuses, giving gifts, supporting travel expenses, organizing festivals, year-end parties, lucky draws, and year-end lucky money for workers.
