On the morning of April 17, the Standing Committee of the Binh Duong Provincial Women's Union organized a training conference to promote women's proactive engagement in addressing social issues related to women.
The conference was attended by 80 delegates including officials of Women's Union at all levels in Thu Dau Mot City, propagandists and collaborators of Women's Union in Thu Dau Mot City.
At the conference, delegates were equipped with knowledge and skills to promote effective child-rearing practices; learned how to improve parents' problem-solving skills, enhance self-help and mutual support, and prevent violence against children. This training aimed to help parents nurture their children’s development appropriately for each age group. The session was conducted by Master Nguyen Thi Oanh, Deputy Director of Vietnam Women's Academy Branch.
In addition, delegates were also informed about social issues, such as: violence, child abuse, especially child sexual abuse; domestic violence, gender-based violence; moral and lifestyle degradation in society; Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, Law on Marriage and Family and other social issues...
