Early May 19, provincial Police Agency’s Party Committee and directorate held a ceremony to launch the “Tree planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho” on the occasion of the 134th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890- May 19, 2024).
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Dut, Deputy Director of provincial Police Agency affirmed that the organization of the Tree Planting Festival has become an annual activity, showing the proactive spirit and responsibility of officers, soldiers, Youth Union members and people in protecting the environment and fighting the effects of climate change.
On this occasion, provincial Police Agency mobilized all officers and soldiers to enthusiastically participate in planting trees, contributing to building a clean, beautiful, safe and green environment agencies and units. The campus of the city’s Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot city is also a place with many trees, including 53 hundred-year-old ones that have been recognized by Vietnam Association For Conservation Of Nature And Environment as "Vietnam Heritage Tree".
