The Ministry of Education and Training has sent a telegram about a number of things noticed when students back to school. Accordingly, based on the actual situation, the Minister of Education and Training requested directors of Departments of Education and Training to advise chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and cities to direct the organization of direct teaching in their locality in a unified and qualified manner, to be convenient for parents in transporting and taking care of students; to direct educational institutions in the area in the first days when students receive face-to-face learning at educational institutions, it is necessary to spend an appropriate amount of time for students to get used to face-to-face learning again.
The Ministry of Education and Training stated that, for first-grade students who have never been to school, schools need to disseminate regulations on studying at school; organize activities to create motivation and comfort for students to go to school; teach students disease prevention knowledge, what to do and principles to follow in disease prevention to protect themselves and the community; provide counseling and psychological support for students; enhance interaction and solidarity among students in the classroom; absolutely must not allow discrimination against unfortunate F0 cases.
The Ministry also asked to continue organizing teaching at schools the basic and core contents according to the guiding documents of teaching content adjustment of the Ministry of Education Training in accordance with the conditions of schools and the target students, avoid putting pressure and overload on students; organize review, consolidate and supplement knowledge suitable to groups of students having different online learning conditions, especially for students who cannot learn via videos, students changing schools because they had to move their residence to prevent and avoid the pandemic.
The organization of periodic direct tests and assessments at schools should be carried out after a period of time when students' knowledge have been reviewed, consolidated and supplemented. Particularly for twelfth-grade students, educational institutions should develop plans to complete the 2021-2022 school year before June 30. Localities that cannot complete the plans before June 30 must promptly report to the Ministry of Education and Training for specific instructions, ensuring compliance with the plan for the high school graduation exam 2022...
