Since the district was geographically and administratively separated, the education and training sector of Bac Tan Uyen district has always been interested in in terms investing into facilities and regularly organizing professional training for teachers. Therefore, the quality of education has been maintained and improved, especially the results of 10th grade enrollment and high school graduation were high.
According to Nguyen Tan Anh - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Tan Uyen district, over the past 8 years, the construction of schools meeting national standards in the area has achieved outstanding results. If in 2014, the district only had 5 schools that met the standards, so far it had 21 out of 27 schools meeting such standards from the quantity of 7.
Not only was attention paid to finding out solutions to advise authorities at all levels and sectors to invest in facilities so that more and more schools meet national standards, the district also arranges annual repair and rehabilitation funding to maintain the teaching staff and purchase equipment. Teachers are trained every year, so the quality of education is also increasingly improved, adapting to the current new educational program.
The Division of Education and Training of Bac Tan Uyen district has innovated teaching methods in the direction of focusing on quality and educational effectiveness and promoting the application of information technology in teaching and management activities. In each school year, the quality of all levels has been maintained and increased markedly, especially the results of 10th grade enrollment and high school graduation in the last 4 years still maintain the rate of 100%.
Many gratitude activities
In order to promote the tradition of studiousness, the principle of gratitude and teacher respects of the nation, Bac Tan Uyen district has been organizing many gratitude and honoring activities for teachers who have contributed to the cause of educating people in the locality.By the theme of "Pride and aspiration", activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 to November 20, 2022) attracted a large number of teachers and students from all schools.
Emulation movements of "Building friendly schools, active students", "Green, clean, beautiful, and safe schools", "Teaching well - Studying well", "Promoting learning and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style" among others took place very excitingly. Schools actively participate in the campaign of "Each teacher is a moral example - self-study and creative" and participate in welcome activities organized by the Department of Education and Training.
In addition, the district also organizes contests such as making video clips with the theme of "Introducing the school I love", reading books and telling stories according to books, English rhetoric for junior high and high school students, student traffic safety in 2022, teacher singing in 2022, tunes of juniors and an exhibition of 40 years of achievements of the education and training sector with the theme of "Pride and aspiration". From October 2022 to November 2022, sports tournaments such as volleyball, badminton, and table tennis tournaments of the sector also attracted a large number of teachers. In particular, the district will hold a meeting to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day to commend and reward collectives and individuals who have won excellent achievements and made great contributions to the education cause of the district in the 1982-2022 term.
Nguyen Tan Anh added that through the organization of activities, the education and training sector summarizes and evaluates the implementation results and proposes solutions to improve the quality of education and training to foster pride and love for the profession among teachers and staff in schools. At the same time, the activities are also aimed at encouraging the whole department to successfully implement the fundamental and comprehensive renovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the context of a market-oriented economy and international integration to contribute to building a prosperous and happy country.
