From February 5th to 9th, Mrs. Trang Hue Lan – Vice Editor-in-chief of Binh Duong Newspaper, has joined up a charity group of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuyen (Thanh Dat Rubber private corporation and Mrs. Kim Tuoi, Mrs. Kim Nhan, Mrs. Kim Thuy and Mrs. Kim Minh to pay gift visits to 14 poor and privileged households across Thu Dau Mot town, Phu Giao, Dau Tieng, and Tan Uyen district. Each household according to specific status received gifts worthed VND 500,000 and an allowance from VND 5 to 10mln. The total amount of VND 130mln is donated by Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuyen. On this occasion, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuyen has also donated VND 20 mln to Tan Hiep People’s Committee for construction of charity houses.

Irrespective of difficulties, the charity group came to addresses of poor individuals to give them gifts and caring words for their welcome of Tet holiday.
The group came to visit Mr. Nguyen Van Man living at 1A hamlet, Vinh Hoa village, Phu Giao district. Now, being disabled, he lives in hardship after losing his wife who had no children with him. The charity group offered him VND 10mln and a gift which made him burst into tears.
“I am so supprised by such a fortune which I do not know how to repay. I want to send my thankful words to you and Binh Duong Newspaper which has called up the charity activities for the poor,” said Mrs. Bui Thi Mui residing at 2A Hamlet, Phuoc Hoa (Phu Giao) when receiving the group offering her VND 10mln and a gift package.
It was remarkable for kindness of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuyen and other members of the group when they offered another VND 10mln to householder Tran Voc residing at 1A hamlet, Phuoc Hoa village. On behalf of local authority, Phuoc Hoa Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Trong No showed his gratitude to the help of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuyen and the charity group.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuyen was born and grew up at Thanh An village, Dau Tieng district before accompanying her husband to form business in Ho Chi Minh City. She kept her heart thinking about her home town and charity work, helping the poor.
Despite her busy work, she participated in charity visit upon getting the news on Binh Duong Newspaper. She paid out VND 130 mln of cash and buy other 14 gift packages while mobilizing friends to join in visit to privileged and poor households in Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, Dau Tieng, and Thu Dau Mot.
The brandname Thanh Dat rubber has claimed a place in market by the heart and mind of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuyen who has taken charity work as personal responsibility. She explained that her difficult life has helped her to be successful and she could feel what less lucky people have to get through in circumstances. And, she wants to uphold unity of our people.
To follow her own wish, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuyen run her business in the most successful way to support her charity donation to charity housing and giftss to the poor in binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long, etc.
Her action is commendable for her devotion to charity work irrespective of place and time and money which she has to reap from her business. However, the businesswoman seems not to be satisfied with her hundreds of million dongs donated to the poor. She commits to better production for higher turnover to continue her charity wish.
Binh Duong Newspaper has connected the kind-hearted donation to help the poor prepare for Tet holiday and futher in a bid of poverty elimination. The Tiger new year is coming near and happiness is prosperous among the households being helped.
