On November 10, the Mobilization Board of Ong Dong quarter in Tan Uyen city’s Tan Hiep ward, organized the Great National Unity Festival, in attendance of Mai Hung Dung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee.
In 2023, Ong Dong quarter effectively implemented the movement of "All people uniting to build cultural lifestyle", the movement of "All people protecting national security", the campaign of "All people uniting to build civilized urban and new-style rural areas", mobilized organizations and individuals to build the local Fund for the poor... In 2023, the quarter had 413 out of 480 households winning the title of cultural family for 3 consecutive years. The quarter also visited and offered 37 gifts to policy beneficiary families. Especially, the local people united to carry out many projects and models on building cultural and civilized lifestyle such as the model of building a green - clean - beautiful - bright quarter office, the model of turning landfills into flower gardens...
Speaking at the festival, Mr. Dung asked for people of Dong Ong quarter to continue striving to effectively implement the movement of building civilized urban and new-style rural areas, patriotic emulation movements, led by all-level Fatherland Front Committees, authorities and sectors; need to promote their role in ensuring security and order in association with traffic safety and environmental protection...
On this occasion, provincial leaders gave gifts for disadvantaged households in Tan Hiep ward. The organization board of the festival awarded titles to cultural families, lodging facilities, families and collectives that contributed to implementing the campaign of "All people uniting to build civilized urban and new-style rural areas" .
