Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), on January 11, held a conference to review the three-year implementation of the “All people consolidate to build civilized urban, new rural areas” and the fifteen-year implementation of “the national great unity festival”. Attending the event were Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council; leaders of sectors, departments, mass organizations, localities together with outstanding collectives and individuals.
In the 2016-2018 period, the campaign made great impacts on all fields of people’s life, contributing to strengthening solidarity and creating high consensus among the society; boosted people's trust in Party and authorities at all levels. Provincial FFCs at all levels also mobilized enterprises and donors to raise more than VND35billion for the local Fund for the Poor; constructed and upgraded 237 “great unity” houses with a total expense of nearly VND11.7billion…So far, the whole province has had 46 out of 49 communes recognized as new-style rural ones. The “national great unity” festival in residential quarters in the province was organized solemnly and safely, actually becoming a great political event among people from all strata, contributing to strengthening and upholding the strength of national great unity bloc.
With excellent achievements in realizing the campaign, 48 collectives and 22 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee Chairman. 27 collectives and 41 individuals were also presented the certificates of merit of provincial FFC Chairman.
