Tan Hiep commune’s Youth Union has sped up education and dissemination of information among young workers via many forms. In 2012, the local Youth Union set up additional five youth sub-unions and admitted nearly 200 members.
On Tet and great holidays, the local Youth Union have paid more attention to taking young workers’ material and spiritual lives with many practical activities, including organizing art performances in celebration of Party and New Year, week for workers; visiting and mobilizing proprietors to present hundreds of gifts to young workers who cannot return home to celebrate with their families…
Young workers herein will also have a chance to gather in a family meal this Tet. This is the model “Informal meal” effectively implemented by the local Youth Union for many years. Vo Thanh Dong, from Minh Hien youth sub-union, said that he felt very joyful when taking part in cultural-sports activities organized by the youth sub-union. The youth sub-union over time also offered more help to him and many other members, especially alien ones in difficult circumstances.
