Upholding the role of women in crime prevention

Under the Joint - Resolution on “Managing and Educating our Juniors Not to Commit Sins and Social Evils”, provincial Police Agency has cooperated with provincial Women’s Union to well realize the task of mobilizing, educating and offering more help to wrongdoers in family and residential community. This has helped uphold the role of women in family and society for the task against sins and social evils.

Implementation of the Joint-Resolution on “Managing and Educating our Juniors Not to Commit Sins and Social Evils” has always reached unanimity between the two sectors. So far, the Joint-Resolution has contributed to building up many localities without violence, sins and social evils.  

The movement of “All people take part in defending national security” has been launched among people and members of women’s union.

Localities have also sped up information and education work for people to raise their awareness of the laws. Up to 83% of the families of members and officials of the local Women’s Union have annually considered for the title of “cultural family”. Localities have also diversified their propaganda activities to absorb more people, contributing to realizing the task of social order and security maintenance. 

Through the propaganda work, provincial Police Agency has received 1,022 valuable news related to crimes’ activities. Provincial Women’s Unions at all levels, sectors and mass organizations have also educated and converted 2,234 wrongdoers; supported tens of millions of dong for women those who show repentance and desire to redeem their faults, helping them stabilize their lives and quickly re-integrate into society.

The above efforts have contributed to bringing positive results in the task of the local order and security maintenance. Women hav also been more aware of their responsibility in maintaining order and security. Their contributions will be “pink bricks” to build up a peaceful and happy society.
