As planned, Long Hoa commune of Dau Tieng district will become a town in the future. To accomplish this goal, Party Committee of Long Hoa commune is setting out specific guidelines to advance the commune towards urbanization.
Within Dau Tieng district, Long Hoa is a locality having rapid development rate, and properly oriented. Trading and services have been boosted up and have accounted for over 20% GDP structure. Moreover, various forms of trading – service are increasing quickly and uniformly.

Besides Long Hoa market, small businesses, shops have emerged in the commune, especially on arterial roads, boosting local development, and meeting people’s needs of purchasing goods, services. At the present, local average annual per capita income is VND27mln, proportion of poor households is only 1.36%.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan, a small shop’s owner at Long Hoa market, said, owing to attention of local government, business at Long Hoa market has operated smoothly and been growing, enriching local inhabitants.
Long Hoa commune Party Committee’s Deputy Secretary Mr. Do Van Em said, the Party Committee has been focused on advancing the commune towards urbanization. “Trading – service is the basic premise to put up urban Long hoa in the future. In addition, we invite industrial investments and also facilitate development of other sectors”, said Mr. Em.
To meet requirements of development, the Party Committee has given training to civil servants, cadres, especially young ones, and female ones. After various trainings, at the present, cadres meet job requirements and are ready for a future Long Hoa town.
“Long Hoa commune Party Committee has been paid attention to staff planning and training. We also launched a self-learning movement among civil servants. This movement has achieved many positive results”, said Mr. Em.
