Over five implementation years, the campaign "All people unite for new rural construction, urban civilization" in 2016-2020 has been receiving the attention of all levels of committees and authorities and has become a patriotic emulation movement among the people. This campaign has made a large spread, strongly affected economic, culture, society, national defense and security areas; at the same time, brought good changes, improved spiritual and material cultural life of people from urban to rural areas.

Many practical models
In order to coordinate the effective implementation of this campaign, Standing Committee of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired consultation and consensus meetings to assign tasks to socio-political organizations through coordination programs between Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations on the cooperation and implementation of the campaign in 2017-2021; proactively assigned specific tasks to member organizations to implement the campaign in the system of branches and unions and instruct Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in the province to organize and coordinate the implementation.
Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice Chairwoman of Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, said that Standing Committee of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee developed a plan to implement coordinated programs, pilot programs on: Prevention of crime, drugs, prostitution, social evils, HIV / AIDS; ensuring traffic order and safety; protecting environmental resources; charity work; to take care and protect people's health; to encourage talent education, build a learning society; and considered this as the criterion for commenting and recognizing cultural titles in the movement "All people unite to build up cultural life". In particular, areas selected as main locations of the province, districts, towns and cities, Party committees, authorities, and unions also had specific plans to implement contents of the campaign; registered specific jobs and built up autonomous models among the people, contributing to the good implementation for the campaign to be effective and spread among the people.
Based on task assignment signing programs, member organizations had plans to register tasks of the campaign in accordance with contents and activities of their own organizations; integrated prominent movements to widely propagate this campaign among union members and people.
For example, Youth Union had a movement of “Building the model value of Vietnamese youth in the new era”, “Office civilization” combined with “Office smile”; Labor Confederation had a emulation movement of good labor, creative labor, initiative promotion and technical improvement; Women's Union effectively implemented programs and movements "Binh Duong women join hands to build new countryside, civilized urban lifestyle", "Binh Duong join hands for the poor"; Farmer's Union also launched movements, such as good farmers, farmers helping each other to develop home-based business; Veterans Union with movements "Support poor students going to school"; "Be near the grassroots, close to members"; "Streets of urban civilization" etc.

To make a positive change
Hung Hoa commune in Bau Bang district has streets with beautiful flowered roadsides, embellishing the face of countryside. Hoang Thi Thuy Trang, Vice Chairwoman of Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Hoa commune, said that it was the result of "Civilization Road" movement implemented by the communal Party Committee. This practice has been jointly carried out by branches, Fatherland Front committees, unions and hamlets, then received the support of local residents. “People contributed money, materials and labor to build rural roads; joined hands to maintain environmental sanitation; planted and took care of flowers and trees along roads, making the landscape and face of countryside greener, cleaner and more beautiful”, said Ms. Hoang.
To implement this campaign, Thu Dau Mot City and Thuan An City also developed an effective civilized urban project through models, such as: Commercial markets, model roads, garbage-free streets , flower streets. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Chairman of People's Committee of Thuan An City, said that in recent years, Thuan An had concentrating many resources to build a civilized and modern urban area. Therefore, urban face of Thuan An city has had many changes, from material facilities, technical infrastructure, to cultural behaviors of all classes of people.
With five major contents, along with the participation of the whole political system from the province to grassroots level, the campaign has made a strong change in all aspects of life. According to Tran Thi Kim Lan, the campaign concerned committees, authorities and branches, and has gradually become a sweeping patriotic movement among the people. In particular, the campaign has created a wide spread power, strongly affected all aspects of life, economy, culture and society of all people strata in residential areas, contributing to strengthening solidarity and unanimity among all people, creating strong consensus in society. Many residential areas propagated and encouraged households to help each other by capital, plants and animals to develop production and poverty reduction.
Contribution to building infrastructure in rural areas was also carried out. Many households voluntarily donated lands, properties, to build bridges, concrete hundreds of kilometers of rural roads, inland canals, actively participating in environmental sanitation. Autonomous models in residential areas were formed and operated effectively.
