In the morning of July 11, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee led a delegation of the provincial Party Committee to visit, work and inspect the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic in Di An city. All forces and resources gathered for epidemic stamping out
Reporting to Mr. Nguyen Van Loi and members of the delegation of the provincial Party Committee, Mr. Pham Van Bay, Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee and Head of the Front Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control in Di An city, said in advance the face of epidemic situation of complicated developments, over time, the city has established, consolidated and effectively put into operation 966 Community Covid Teams with 2,224 members, 47 tracing teams with 94 members and 120 testing teams with a total of 480 members. After the establishment, members of the groups and teams are trained, professionally guided and immediately begun to perform the assigned tasks.
Mr. Pham Van Bay also added that in recent days, Di An city continuously recorded new Covid-19 positive cases. As of July 11, the whole city has recorded a total of 234 F0 cases, 1,701 F1 cases, 9,248 F2 cases and 2,449 F3 and F4 cases. In response to the risk of disease spreading and outbreaks in the residential community and the factory environment, Di An city has urgently mobilized all resources to localize, control and stamp out the epidemic in 15 golden days as Ho Chi Minh city is administering social distance according to Directive No. 16 of the Prime Minister. Specifically, along with urgently implementing professional measures to promptly localize, control and stamp out the epidemic, the city also quickly deployed epidemic control checkpoints and actively propagated and mobilized organizations to control the epidemic as well as organizations, businesses and people to join hands in disease prevention.
Rapid epidemic stamping out under motto of “4 on the spot”
Speaking at a working session with the Standing Party of Di An city Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi highly appreciated the efforts of the entire political system and people of Di An city in disease prevention over the past time and proposed that it is recommended for Di An city to continue to urgently deploy professional measures to promptly localize, control and stamp out the epidemic according to the motto of "4 on the spot" (on-the-spot command, on-site forces, vehicles and supplies) in places of quarantine and treatment to promptly return to normal life. Mr. Nguyen Van Loi also suggested that the provincial health sector should consider for sooner plans to strengthen support in terms of human resources and equipment for localities, especially, the speeding up and improving the capacity of medical examination and treatment and testing of PCR specimens so that the locality can have appropriate and timely treatment plans.
Mr. Nguyen Van Loi also asked the provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks to join hands to coordinate more urgently and drastically with Di An city to zone and repell the epidemic.
Accordingly, in the golden time, industrial parks need to have plans to coordinate with functional sectors to review and require businesses to ensure regulations on disease prevention. For businesses that are hot spots and sensitive to the Covid-19 epidemic, the locality needs to plan for zoning to control and stamp out the epidemic. For businesses that have not yet been invaded by the disease, the provincial and local Industrial Parks Management Boards urge businesses to implement the "3 spot" measure (dining- staying - producing). This will help protect production, protect factories and protect workers from the disease and ensure the flowing supply chain of goods.
Emphasizing that Di An city and Thuan An city are two gateway localities of the province, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi suggested that these two localities should be more urgent and drastic in disease prevention. In addition, localities should have flexible response plans by focusing on fulfilling the "dual goals" of effective disease prevention and production and business assurance. However, depending on the actual epidemic situation in the area, localities also need to be flexible to prioritize and focus on which goals that are appropriate. Localities need to promptly review, research and advise the province to pay support for people in need during the epidemic in accordance with regulations. The local armed forces continue to raise their vigilance and are ready to participate in the maintenance of security and order to ensure the stability of society in the current period.
Mr. Nguyen Van Loi also suggested that in the coming time, Di An city needs to mobilize the entire political system to join hands in disease prevention, epidemic suppression and control. In particular, the Secretary of the city Party Committee and the Chairman of the city People's Committee will be the main responsible people and must be regularly present to command at the battle front of Covid-19 prevention and control. Di An city needs to actively fight the epidemic well and eliminate the epidemic quickly according to the motto of "4 on the spot" in the golden time to ensure the fulfillment of the ultimate goa and finally protect the people's health and continue to organize production in new conditions.
