The festive day for kids is the first program in the Month for Children with cultural, artistic and sport activities and the second one is the musical show named "For children's happiness". These programs will contribute to create useful and healthy playgrounds for kids. Month for children in this year includes a provincial level forum themed "Children with accident prevention and injury control"; focuses on dissemination of the Politburo's Directive No.20 on "spurring the Party's leadership on taking care for and educate children in the new period"; program on child protection for the period of 2011-2015 and so on.

In order to help children enjoy a safe, healthy summer, sectors, mass bodies at all levels always hold cultural, artistic and sport activities for children by many forms including folk games, football, badminton, table-tennis, swimming, excursion and among others in a bid to attract and uphold children's rights. In addition, children are oriented, educated to preserve and promote traditional cultural values and not to use and play violent and pornographic and toxic games. Especially, the functional agencies use provincial budget to hold free swimming classes in summer for 1,000 children in especially difficult circumstances. Aside from the done results, Binh Duong in reality remains cases triggering concerns among society. These cases include child violence, child sexual abuse, abandoned children, accidents and injuries in children, child labor, street children and etc. In industrial localities, parents must go to work all day at factories and companies, so they have no time to attend training courses as well as meetings, so knowledge on taking care for children and ensuring children's rights and benefits is also restricted. Furthermore, owing to constant change of residence of laborers, it is difficult to approach children and help them enjoy adequately services of protecting and taking care for kids. To bring a useful, happy summer for children as well as to create a positive change on awareness and action of children, the provincial leaders require all level sectors, agencies, organizations, parents and the whole society must give special priorities for children; pay attention to fostering a bright, innocent and happy soul; join forces to create a safe, friendly and healthy environment for all children. Localities should disseminate strongly and widely purpose and significance of the Month for children and launch Plan on summer 2014; offer the best conditions and healthy, significant and useful playgrounds for kids; accelerate socialization playgrounds for children; mobilize sources to serve summer activities; hold significant activities to charm numerous kids; maintain mobilization of social sources to join hands to protect, take care and educate local children in especially difficult circumstances. In addition, agencies and sectors at all levels should strengthen cooperation and further improve awareness and action and specify responsibility of grassroot party cells, social and political mass bodies, sectors and agencies as well as cadres, party members and people on the work on taking care, educating and protecting children; spur strongly the movement of all people join in taking care, educating and protecting children; spurring the work on grassroot inspection on using child labor and among others.
