Provincial Party Committee Office has just announced the conclusion of Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee cum Deputy Head of provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on the local situation of implementing Covid-19 vaccination for foreign experts. Accordingly, the province ensures that there are enough Covid-19 vaccines for foreign experts under the list provided. For 17,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine (China), the local health sector will organize appropriate allocation to inject right subjects under regulations.
The province’s Covid-19 vaccination program for foreign experts will be fulfilled before August 30.
Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has requested agencies and units to improve their responsibilities, capacity and service quality, ensure legal regulations and time schedule when organizing vaccination against Covid-19 for foreign experts. The local health sector needs to coordinate with relevant units to carefully prepare the amount of vaccines for injection, ensuring thoughtfulness and order, leaving a good impression on foreign experts.
The province also agreed on injection sites at Becamex International General Hospital in Thuan An city and My Phuoc General Hospital in Ben Cat town. Along its existing injection area, each hospital arranges one more injection area to ensure the completion time of vaccination for foreign experts. Provincial Center for Disease Control will mobilize forces for vaccination at the two hospitals.
To complete Covid-19 vaccination for foreign experts no later than August 30, provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has asked for provincial Department of Foreign Affairs to coordinate with provincial Department of Home Affairs, provincial Center for Disease Control, Becamex International General Hospital and My Phuoc General Hospital to organize the implementation of the this task, ensuring efficiency and schedule. They have also been ordered to coordinate with provincial Department of Industry and Trade, provincial Industrial Parks ‘Management Board to notify those who are vaccinated on requirement of having valid negative Covid-19 test certificates in order to have enough records to pass through checkpoints and enter medical facilities where vaccination is carried out.
Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has also proposed provincial Department of Foreign Affairs to coordinate with provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and relevant units to organize pick-up and drop-off buses for foreign experts while dividing the time frame for vaccination, ensuring that there is no gathering of people, causing the risk of the pandemic spread.
