International relation and international integration activities of Binh Duong youths in recent years have marked a new development. The relationship between the local youths with youths of the countries in and outside of Southeast Asia has been strengthened through volunteer activities, exchanges, and cooperation.

International relation and international integration activities are always paid attention to by the provincial Youth Union level through the use of the Youth Union's information and communication channels, conferences of rapporteurs; the delegation's focus is on the international situation, building skills, organizing international exchange activities, diplomatic reception for youth union members.
The movement of learning foreign languages among cadres and youth union members has been effectively implemented by the delegation level with the establishment of nearly 50 foreign language clubs, attracting nearly 3,000 youth union members. The English Club, Vietnam - Japan Youth Friendship Club (directly under the Vietnam Youth Union) are prominent. On that basis, the units held contests in English. In addition, the province has established the Vietnam - Korea Cultural Exchange Center under the cooperation program of the Korea International Cultural Exchange and Provincial Youth Union. Accordingly, the center regularly opens classes in Korean, Vietnamese, makeup classes, and dance meeting the needs of exchanges and learning.
Every year, the Youth Union also organizes volunteer youth teams with meaningful activities in Champasak (Laos), Kampongthom, Siemriep (Cambodia). Attracting participation of nearly 200,000 turns of youths by over VND 5 billion per year, contributing to the new role of Binh Duong youths in international volunteerism.
Highlights of the cooperation and international exchanges of the delegation include the "Mekong River" program with many special and meaningful cultural and culinary exchanges, contributing to the friendly relationship between the three countries of Indochina (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia). Recently, the program continues to be held on the occasion of the Congress of representatives of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the 10th tenure of 2017-2022 with many special features such as performing arts with theme song praising the country and people of Vietnam, land and people of Binh Duong, especially friendship and good diplomatic relations between the two countries of Vietnam and Cambodia. At the same time, the delegation of Cambodian youths and more than 400 Vietnamese, Cambodian and Lao youths living and studying in Binh Duong province have had fun and exchanges through activities and folk games.
Nguyen Thi Oanh, 2nd year student of Law Faculty of Thu Dau Mot University said: The “Mekong River" program with many meaningful activities has contributed to the friendship and the learning about the cultures and traditions of the two peoples. The Cambodian youths are very cheerful and friendly in introducing us with traditional Cambodian dances. This will be an unforgettable memory to help me in learning as well as international exchange activities with international friends.”
With its diversified activities in international integration, the youth work of the province was highly appreciated by the Central Committee of the Union and the Provincial Youth Union was honored to receive the award as one of 10 excellent youth organizations of ASEAN in 2016.
