In the last days of October, many large enterprises in the province open joyful and meaningful playgrounds, as well as, give gifts to help workers in difficult circumstances. In addition, Trade Unions at all levels actively cooperate with businesses that have the potential to support employees during the year-end such as selling goods at discounted and original prices, VND-0 market fairs, gift-giving to employees having a particularly difficult situation.
To appreciate the workers
On the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day of October 20 this year, businesses in districts, towns, cities and grassroots trade unions of many businesses have carried out many meaningful programs to show gratitude to employees, especially female workers. Tan Uyen town enterprise held a talk and give gifts to female union members with extremely difficult circumstances. The meeting attracted 315 presidents and vice presidents of grassroots trade unions, heads of women's committees and female union members. Trade union members were taught and shared topics on gender equality, domestic violence prevention and control, women's behavior in the family and society. Tan Uyen town also gave 100 gifts to female union members with extremely difficult circumstances; each gift was VND 500,000.

The Trade Union of Industrial Parks in Ben Cat town organized a meeting to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of establishment of the Vietnamese Women's Union (from October 20, 1930 to October 20, 2022) and a summary of female work in 2022.
Besides, many businesses have organized meaningful programs. For example, Premier Global Vietnam Garment Co. Nguyen Binh Yen - Chairman of the grassroots trade union Sao Viet Joint Stock Company, said that in the organization of festivals, the grassroots trade union has created a fund of over VND 300 million to support hundreds of union members and employees with extremely difficult circumstances, dangerous diseases, occupational accidents and other risks. Each case is supported from VND 1 to 5 million. On this year's festival, the grassroots union of Sao Viet Joint Stock Company also gave gifts to 5 workers with extremely difficult circumstances, coordinated with welfare units to sell preferential products to employees, organize lucky draw program with many valuable gifts such as refrigerator, washing machine, gas stove, rice cooker etc.
Year-end care-taking
This year, due to the impact of the epidemic, the lack of orders made many businesses in great troubles, leading to workers having to work in moderation of reduced income. Therefore, besides contests and playgrounds to honor female workers, grassroots trade unions always win valuable gifts for workers, helping them soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives. Recently, the Microfinance Organization (CEP) organized the program of "CEP sharing love - together with workers overcoming difficulties due to COVID-19" in 2022. In this program, CEP awarded 22 customer and 7 students who are children of CEP customers the amount of VND 315 million. At the same time, CEP has granted credit with the amount of VND 655 million to 21 customers in Quarter 1A of An Phu ward in Thuan An city.
To take care of employees at the end of the year, trade unions at all levels actively cooperate with businesses to create more resources. Nguyen Dinh Khanh – Deputy Chairman of the provincial Enterprises, said: "Provincial enterprises have just organized a preliminary review of the coordination in implementing the "Member welfare program" between provincial enterprises and businesses and propose a way to take better care of workers in the area in the last months of the year.”
Recently, Tan Uyen town Enterprise also organized a program to sign a cooperation agreement on welfare of union members with 12 units and enterprises like Yuha Import - Export - Trade - Production Co. Ltd., Kim Ke Vietnam Co. Ltd., Thanh Binh Food Trading Co. Ltd among others, who will provide essential products and services for employees at preferential prices, and offer a part of funds for the Trade Union of Tan Uyen town to organize activities and events to serve union members and employees in the coming time such as Tet reunion program, Union members' day and other social and charity activities organized by the town enterprises.
