On January 19, the provincial Union of Public Employees reviewed the Trade Union activities in 2021 and implemented the direction and tasks in 2022.
In 2021, grassroots trade unions have done well in propaganda, political and ideological education while implementing guidelines and policies of the Party, laws of the State, and Resolutions of Trade Unions at all levels to members. In particular, during the recent COVID-19 epidemic, colleges at all levels propagated and mobilized cadres, civil servants and trade unionists to strictly comply with regulations on prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic and volunteered to participate in the campaign of support epidemic prevention. The units have also coordinated to well implement the regimes and policies to take care of the material and spiritual life of the union members and handle the allowances for union members affected by the COVID-19 epidemic. In addition, the grassroots have also maintained and done well the social and humanitarian work.
On this occasion, 1 collective and 3 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the General Trade Union; 31 individuals were awarded the medals "for the cause of the union"; provincial Trade Uion awarded certificates of merit to 9 collectives and 13 individuals with excellent achievements in the movement of emulating good labor and building strong trade union in 2021; 2 excellent grassroots trade unions were awarded emulation flags; many groups and individuals were awarded certificates of merit.
