Verification and approval of draft resolutions in culture and society

On the afternoon of November 29, Nguyen Thi Thao Nguyen, Deputy Head of the Committee for Culture and Social Affairs under provincial People's Council chaired a meeting to verify the draft resolution on contents in the social culture field and then submit it to provincial People's Council for approval at the year-end session. Attending the event were Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People's Council and leaders of departments and agencies in the province.

At the meeting, the Committee for Culture and Social Affairs reviewed and approved 4 draft verification reports on the Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the regulation on financial spending support and spending norms for the province's cultural and sports field promulgated together with provincial People's Council’s Resolution No. 26/2019/NQ-HDND dated December 12, 2019; the Resolution prescribing policies to support voluntary social insurance premiums and health insurance premiums for a number of subjects in the province; the Resolution supplementing the Resolution No. 01/2022/NQ-HDND stipulating the content and cost of organizing examinations and contests in the field of education and training in the province; the Resolution stipulating tuition fees for public preschools and general education institutions in the province.

Regarding the resolution on tuition fees, through verification, the Committee for Culture and Social Affairs found that the proposed tuition fees this time were higher than that of the 2021-2022 school year, affecting people's lives. Therefore, the local State budget will compensate the difference between the tuition fee collection as prescribed in the Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP compared with the actual tuition fees that students have to pay under the tuition fees of the 2021-2022 academic year, thereby contributing to reducing the burden on people, due to the impact of the increase in tuition fees...
