Early December 15, provincial Military Command, in coordination with provincial Veterans' Association, organized an program exchanging and honoring exemplary veterans, outstanding young officers and students from families of armed forces in the province as well as children of veterans who have excelled in their studies. The event was held under the theme of "Continuing the Tradition, Contributing Talent, Building Great Ambitions”.

The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loi, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Head of provincial National Assembly Deputy Delegation; Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee, along with leaders from various departments and agencies in the province.
The ceremony honored and awarded 35 exemplary veterans, 33 veterans and officials with children currently serving in the military, 15 outstanding young officers, and 165 excellent students who are children of officials from the Veterans' Association at all levels and those working in the provincial armed forces.
In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Minh acknowledged and praised contributions and achievements done by veterans, officials and soldiers of provincial armed forces as well as accomplishments of the students. He also expressed his hope that the local veterans and retired military officers would further contribute to the development of the homeland and the country while also nurturing and guiding younger generations.
Provincial People's Committee Chairman expressed his hope that the students would learn from the exemplary figures of previous generations, live with noble ideals and great aspirations and be ready to continue heroic traditions. He encouraged them to work towards enriching their homeland and the country, striving to stand shoulder to shoulder with powerful countries of the world as envisioned by President Ho Chi Minh.
