A delegation of the Vietnam General Department of Population and Family Planning (VGDPFP), led by Dr.Le Canh Nhac, Deputy Head of the VGDPFP, yesterday had a working session with provincial Steering Board of Population and Family Planning.
At the working session, leader of provincial Sub-department of Population and Family Planning informed the delegation of 4 main contents, including the outcomes of population and family planning in 2015 and in the first eight months of 2016; the situation of changing record books in 2016; the outcomes of strengthening the organizational apparatus and the staffing at all levels under the instruction of Prime Minister; the outcomes of issuing documents of provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee on population-family planning over the past time and activities of Steering Boards of Population-Family Planning at all levels.
Concluding the working session, Dr.Nhac spoke highly of the efforts by Binh Duong in population-family planning over the past time. The most worrying issue is that Binh Duong has a low birth rate on alert, so the province is suggested not to bring the target of reducing birth rate to its plan on population-family planning…
