On October 28, Vietnam-Germany University (VGU) held a ceremony to open the 2017-2018 new academic year, grant graduation certifications to 47 new bachelors and Master’s degrees to 40 learners.

Attending the event were Nguyen Thien Nhan, member of the Politburo, Secretary of HCM city’s Party Committee; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Ha Huu Phuc, Director of the Southern Education Development Center under the Ministry of Education and Training.
In terms of training quality and employment, 98% of the school’s students over the past years got stable jobs after graduation. In the new academic year, the school will open its online enrollment system; focus on expanding activities about vocational orientation and business startup under the fourth industrial revolution, which is one of successful models in Germany and many other countries worldwide.
On this occasion, the school’s fresh students were awarded scholarships from the school and businesses. The World University Support Organization and the VGU Friendship Association also offered 18 scholarships to the school’s students.
