The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank)’s Binh Duong Branch, on September 18, awarded 58 scholarships to poor-but-excellent pupils in Tan Uyen town and North Tan Uyen district.
Of these, 20 worth VND600,000 each were given for primary school pupils; 25 worth VND800,000 each for secondary school pupils and 13 worth VND1mln each for high school pupils.
It is known that Vietcombank’s Binh Duong Branch will award 112 scholarships worth VND80mln to poor-but-excellent pupils in Tan Uyen town and North Tan Uyen district in the 2014-2015 academic year.
This activity is annually done by Vietcombank’s Binh Duong Branch, contributing to encouraging the local poor-but-excellent pupils to overcome difficulties and further pursue their learning.
