- Sir, this year, which problems did family affairs focus on?
- 2015 is the year of “Forming Vietnamese personality from moral, lifestyle education in family’. Uncle Ho said: "Many families combine to form society, good families make good society, good society fosters good families. The core of society is families”. Implementing uncle Ho’s teaching, the Party and State have issued many guidelines and policies to take care of family affairs through movements, models, projects, such as: the movement “All people unite to build cultural lifestyle”, model “"Prevention of domestic violence", model “Consolidating cultural families in the industrialization, modernization process”, project “Propagating, educating morality, lifestyle in Vietnamese families”… By the end of 2014, the province has 225,198 households were recognized as cultural family, achieving 93.42%, and thousands of good responsible grandparents, parents, children. These are positive factors, the driving force of socioeconomic development of the province.

- In 2015, the province has many great activities; the family works has also focused programs. Due to the attention of leaders of all levels, activities with various practical forms were organized to celebrate the Vietnam Family Day. 9 localities in the province held festive days at district level, such as: visual propaganda to raise awareness of family role in the new era, honor cultural families, contests of sports, cooking, talents. Vietnam Family Day at provincial level was also organized with the participation of 27 typical families selected from 9 localities, creating an opportunity for families to exchange experiences, knowledge of building happy family. 3 excellent families were selected to attend the 6th Southeastern Vietnam Family Day 2015 happening from June 24th to 26th in Binh Thuan province.
- Sir, as an official in charge of family affairs, do you have any message to families to build a happy family?
- We all want to be loved, respected. Then we have to love and respect firstly our family members. We witnessed families united to overcome sports and cultural contests; beautiful meaning meals prepared by families at the festive day. If there was no love and sharing between family members, they would not achieve good results. I hope that families with good spirit at the day will then continue to propagate other families in society to join hands to build up happy advanced families, implement cultural lifestyle, inheriting fine tradition of Vietnamese family.
