Early November 10, Vietnam-Singapore Vocational School held a ceremony to mark its 20th anniversary and receive the third-class Labor Medal, in attendance of Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council.

Over the past 20 years, the school trained more than 10,000 students, 90% of whom got jobs after graduation. The school now has a total of nearly 3,000 students with 40 training programs at primary, intermediate and college levels. In the last academic year, the school was awarded the third-class Labor Medal.
On this occasion, there were 3 collectives awarded the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee, 2 individuals with the “provincial-level emulation soldier” title, 3 individuals with the “grassroots-level emulation soldier” title, 22 individuals with the mementoes in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the school. The school also signed cooperation agreements on human resource training with 5 businesses.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr.Tu praised the efforts by the school’s teachers and pupils over the past time; suggested the school to continue being flexible and creative in linking with schools and businesses in training task; especially make efforts to successfully realize a project on developing it into a high-quality vocational facility till 2020, which was approved by provincial People’s Committee.
