Vietnames-German University (VGU) has announced the admission method in school year 2024. Namely, VGU recruits students from high schools in Vietnam and internationally, graduating from high schools and meeting university admission requirements of the Ministry of Education and Training.
In the 2024-2025 school year, VGU has 900 slots for 9 training majors, of which computer science (CSE) has the highest recruitment with 250 slots. VGU recruits students according to 5 methods: entrance exam (TestAS); admission based on high school academic results; direct admission; admission is based on international high school diploma/certificate, and admission is based on high school graduation exam results. Candidates are allowed to use many admission methods but must follow the application and admission dates specified for each admission period.
In particular, in 2024, VGU opens two new faculties: Smart Mobility Engineering (SME); process and environmental engineering (EPE sustainable production process engineering), and two new programs including: circuit design belongs to the computer science engineering (CSE); microelectronic systems engineering belongs to the electrical and computer engineering (ECE).
VGU also offers many scholarships for the 2024 new students, such as: talent scholarship for the first year of study; early admission scholarships for candidates sing method 1 (TestAS); full scholarship. In addition, students have opportunities to receive talent scholarships, scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), scholarships from the World University Support Organization (WUS), and business scholarships for students from second year onwards with excellent academic achievements, social activities, student activities...
