Early February 27, the health sector of TDM city, Thuan An, Di An, Ben Cat towns and Bau Bang, North Tan Uyen districts held get-togethers to mark the 60th anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’ Day (February 27, 1955-February 27, 2015).
*Over the past time, TDM city’s healthcare sector raised the effectiveness of public healthcare, well realized national target programs on health, contributing to improving the local people’s health and intellectual standards at requirements of the national industrialization and modernization process.
So far, the city’s network of healthcare has been consolidated with physicians’ professional competence raised to meet the local people’s demand for medical examination and treatment. The whole city now has 12 out of 14 wards satisfying national standards on healthcare.
*Thuan An town also held a get-together to mark the 60th anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’ Day.
Participating delegates reviewed the tradition of the local healthcare sector during the past 40 years. So far, the town’s network of healthcare has been implemented across 10 communes and wards with more than 400 staff. All wards and wards have been doctorized. Hamlets and quarters have also had health staff at the local people’s demand for medical examination and treatment.
*Di An town’s healthcare sector now has a total of 219 staff. All health stations have met standards with doctors. The professional competence of doctors in the locality has been improved, contributing to taking good care of the local people.
In 2015, the town’s healthcare sector will further improve the quality of human resources to uphold the effectiveness of using medical equipment at units as well as expanding hi-tech services at the local people’s medical treatment while well controlling over prevention of diseases in the locality.
*In Ben Cat town, along with reviewing its tradition, the local sector of healthcare also called for its staff to fulfill 2015’s tasks, including further carrying out policies on public healthcare; promoting training for staff at all levels; effectively realizing national target programs on health, taking initiative in preventing diseases; boosting monitoring work to ensure food safety and hygiene…
* The healthcare sector of Bau Bang district also held a get-together to mark the 60th anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’ Day.
At the get-together, delegates were heard Uncle Ho's letter sent to the healthcare sector while reviewing the district’s results of public healthcare over the past time. In 2015, the local healthcare sector will further try to fulfill tasks in preventing diseases, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment; effectively carry out the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” in association with raising high physicians’ medical ethics.
*In North Tan Uyen district, after hearing Uncle Ho's letter sent to the healthcare sector, delegates reviewed the tradition of the local healthcare sector over the past time while being determined to excellently complete entrusted tasks. Although just being established, all the district’s healthcare stations have been doctorized and 9 out of 10 healthcare stations have met national standards on healthcare.
