A ceremony to announce the decision of establishment of Vietnam-South Korean College was organized yesterday morning, in attendance of Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, representative of South Korean Consulate in HCM city and leaders of sectors, departments, mass organizations, schools in the province.

Vietnamese-South Korean college is upgraded from Vietnamese-South Korean vocational junior college. This is a public school with primary, junior college and college training levels and is also the project funded by South Korea’s ODA capital. The school now has 3 facilities in TDM city’s Hiep Thanh, Phu My wards and Tan Uyen town’s Vinh Tan commune. In the 2017-2018 academic year, the school will train 12 majors, including 6 equipped with modern machines sponsored by South Korea, with 1,365 students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee suggested the school to outline a development strategy at standards of a vocational training facility as stipulated, improve the quality of teaching and managerial staff; ensure synchronous development to become a regional standard vocational training facility…
