Most of the labor accidents were recorded in the construction field, due to laborers’ carelessness and lack of knowledge about labor accident prevention. In fact, many small or middle-sized businesses have yet not paid attention to giving training on labor safety for laborers and providing them with necessary labor safety tools to prevent labor accidents, occupational diseases and fire-explosion cases. Besides, the steering board has promoted propaganda activities about the LSH and FEP work before, during and after the week through the mass media. Relevant agencies also need to regularly made inspection tours of the LSH and FEP work at businesses and give strict punishment to units and individuals who violate the regulations on LSH and FEP, causing serious consequences.
